Operations Manager, Construction Manager/ Foreman

We are currently recruiting for a Construction Superintendent for our Industrial Rope Access team to be based out of our New York Building Envelope office located in Hawthorne, NJ.
Responsibilities- Work closely with Project Managers, Division Managers and other leaders within the STRUCTURAL Northeast business line.
- Participate in pre-project and pre-task planning activities and disseminate planning details to field crews.
- Motivate team members to work together to accomplish tasks, coordinate work activities with other construction project activities and assign work to employees based on material and worker requirements of specific jobs.
- Ensure crews are operating all tools and equipment in a safe, proper and productive manner.
- Provide training and assistance to crews in the performance of work related tasks.
- Assist Project Managers in evaluating various production rates related to the project.
- Complete all essential paperwork in a clear and accurate manner.
- Interview and hire new field employees.
- Provide leadership to the company's Safety 24/7 culture.
- Possess and maintain a valid SPRAT level 3 or IRATA level 3 card.
- Ability to work comfortably and safely at considerable heights.
- High school degree or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience in general construction with at least 5 of those years in a Foreman or Assistant Superintendent role.
- Prior experience in general repair type projects to include concrete repair, structural strengthening, waterproofing, corrosion control, facade restoration, etc.
- Previous experience running four projects simultaneously, ideally in a commercial construction environment.
- Proven ability to supervise various levels of field managers as well as crews with minimal subcontract oversight.
- Demonstrated ability to read, interpret and execute construction drawings and contract specifications.
- Established dedication to safety and ability to display adherence to the company's operating principles.
- Proven experience to produce look‑ahead schedules and work with other construction documents as required by the project.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with the customer, crew and project teams.
- Intermediate computer and construction math skills.
- OSHA 30 and NYC DOB SST card are a plus.
Salary range: $100,000–$130,000 (commensurate with experience).
