Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic team at Avondale Dental on Mondays (8‑3), with the potential for additional days! Our team is dedicated to providing top‑tier dental services while fostering a supportive and fun work environment that emphasizes continuous education and professional growth. As a vital member of our practice, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive dental hygiene services, supporting patient education, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for all patients.
What We Offer- $45‑$55 per hour, based on experience
- Quarterly bonus
- Sign on bonus of $2,000
- Scrub reimbursement
- Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing.
- Assess patient’s oral health, record vital signs, review medical histories, and ensure HIPAA compliance.
- Take and interpret dental X-rays to support diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and healthy habits.
- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms using proper aseptic and infection control procedures in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Review, document, and maintain accurate medical records using EMR systems.
- Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment and collaborate with the dental team to deliver high‑quality patient care.
- The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of dental hygiene practices, patient care, and infection control protocols.
- Proficiency with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft is essential for efficient record management.
- Excellent communication skills combined with the ability to educate patients effectively on oral health practices.
- Certification as a Registered Dental Hygienist from an accredited program is mandatory; licensure must be current according to state regulations.
