POSITION SUMMARY: The Finishing Technician completes the application of primer and/or paint to all assigned parts. The position may also be responsible for all preparation work including sanding and filling. The successful candidate will ensure that products are produced on time, safely, and meet or exceed quality standards.

Essential Functions Statement(s):

• Review resident manufacturing plan for proper instructions and specifications
• Ensure all necessary parts and materials are present
• Sand and/or fill part if necessary per specifications
• Prime and/or paint per specifications
• Inspect each step in the process for quality and presence of Foreign Object Debris (FOD)
• Visually inspect finished parts for quality
• Place part on outgoing production shelves
• Participate in continuous improvement activities through implementation of change management process and best practices
• Assist with standard operating procedures for all production operations
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Replace all tools and materials when job(s) are complete
• Properly dispose of any/all hazardous materials
• Ensure all health and safety guidelines are followed
• Utilize all mandatory personal protective equipment (PPE)

Other duties as assigned.
