Senior Quantity Surveyor

You will work directly with senior leadership and operational teams, becoming a key voice in how projects are delivered. Senior Quantity Surveyor Project Portfolio Youll be commercially leading a varied portfolio of projects including:
Premium residential developments Complex refurbishment and extension schemes Education and healthcare facilities Commercial and mixed-use developments Hotel and leisure projects Community and public sector works The workload offers excellent variety, with projects ranging from technically challenging refurbishments in live environments through to high-specification new build schemes. Key Responsibilities Take full commercial ownership of projects from inception to completion Lead procurement strategy and subcontractor negotiations Maximise profitability while managing commercial risk Produce accurate forecasting, CVRs, and financial reporting Manage valuations, variations, and final accounts Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, and supply chain partners Support project teams in achieving programme and budget objectives Mentor and develop junior commercial staff where required Senior Quantity Surveyor About You You will be commercially sharp, confident in your decision-making, and capable of operating with minimal supervision.

Strong experience in quantity surveying within construction Proven ability to commercially manage projects independently Excellent contractual and commercial knowledge Strong negotiation and communication skills Experience working for a main contractor or reputable regional builder A proactive and solutions-driven mindset Most importantly, youll be someone who takes ownership, builds trust, and consistently delivers to a high standard.
