Job Title: Quality Surveyor

Location: Hayes

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000

Shift: Monday to Friday - 6:00am to 2:30pm

An exciting opportunity has opened for a Quality Surveyor to join a growing infrastructure business based in Hayes.

The Quality Surveyor will travel to live sites across Greater London to inspect street works, civils, installation, maintenance, excavation and reinstatement works. You will check completed works against specifications, quality requirements and safe working practices, identifying defects or compliance issues and following corrective actions through to completion.

This is a practical site-based quality role suited to someone with street works, civils, highways, reinstatement or on-street infrastructure experience.

• Practical experience in street works, civils, excavation, reinstatement, highways maintenance or on-street infrastructure
• Working knowledge of street works quality, HSQE and safe working practices
• Ability to complete clear inspection reports using photos, notes, measurements and mobile/Office systems
• CSCS card
• Full UK driving licence

• Experience inspecting or checking site works against specifications
• Ability to identify defects, unsafe practices or poor workmanship
• Understanding of signing, lighting, guarding and temporary traffic management
• Confident working independently on live sites
• Strong attention to detail and right-first-time approach
• Clear communication with operatives, supervisors, managers, clients and local authorities
• Ability to plan site visits and manage priorities across multiple locations
• Good record keeping and reporting skills
• Confident using Microsoft Office, mobile devices and site reporting tools
• Positive, practical and professional approach to resolving issues

• NRSWA Supervisor or Operative qualification
• LANTRA 12D or temporary traffic management knowledge
• CITB site safety, quality, inspection or health and safety qualification
• Experience with public infrastructure or local-authority street works
• Experience with street furniture, public transport infrastructure or electrical connection works
• Previous quality inspection, site inspection or audit experience

• Salary of £35,000 - £40,000 depending on experience
