SEN Teacher (ASC) - September Start | Hillingdon
Are you an experienced and committed SEN Teacher seeking a rewarding new opportunity this September? We are currently recruiting for a specialist school in Hillingdon that supports pupils with ASC.

About the Role:
As an SEN Teacher, you will deliver carefully adapted lessons that meet the individual learning needs of pupils with ASC. You will lead a class supported by experienced teaching assistants and collaborate closely with the SENCO, therapists, and families to support each pupil's development and progress.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils with ASC
Establish structured and consistent classroom routines that support learning
Contribute to and review EHCP targets and personalised learning plans
Support communication and social interaction through visual and structured strategies
Track pupil progress and adapt teaching methods where required
Work collaboratively with support staff and external professionals
Apply positive behaviour and emotional regulation strategies to support learning Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification
Experience supporting pupils with SEN, ideally within an ASC setting
Understanding of autism-friendly teaching practices and structured learning approaches
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Patient, flexible, and committed to inclusive education
Able to commute to Hillingdon or live within a reasonable travelling distance
