Level 3 Early Years Practitioner
Job Type: Part Time, Temporary (Potential Extension)

Start Date:

13/04/2026 Until July 2026 with strong potential to continue into September
Salary: £87–£100 per day
Hours of Work: 8:15am – 4:00pm, Monday to Wednesday (Term Time Only)

Salary dependent on experience and qualifications. Higher rates are reserved for candidates with substantial experience and/or relevant training such as a recognised Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent). Pay is determined in line with school expectations and Agency Worker Regulations (AWR), where applicable.

We are recruiting on behalf of a large, well-established primary academy in Hillingdon for a Level 3 EYFS Practitioner to join their Early Years team from after Easter through to July, with the strong possibility of the role continuing into the new academic year.

The Early Years setting includes spacious indoor learning areas and engaging outdoor provision, carefully planned to promote independence, communication and curiosity. Staff work collaboratively with shared planning structures, and support staff are valued as key members of the team.

About the Role

As a Level 3 EYFS Practitioner, you will:

• Work within Nursery and/or Reception

• Support high-quality teaching in line with the EYFS framework

• Deliver small group activities and targeted phonics interventions

• Promote early language, literacy and numeracy development

• Encourage independence, social skills and emotional regulation

• Support children with varying needs, including those requiring additional support

• Contribute to observations, assessments and learning journeys

• Help maintain a nurturing, structured and stimulating environment

This part-time role (Monday to Wednesday) offers excellent work-life balance while allowing you to remain fully embedded within the Early Years team.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold a recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent)

• Have strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development

• Be confident supporting phonics and early language acquisition

• Demonstrate patience, warmth and a nurturing approach

• Be proactive, organised and able to use initiative

• Have experience supporting children with additional needs (desirable)

• Thrive when working as part of a collaborative team
