SEN Teaching Assistant - Hillingdon - Specialist School - £90-£110 a day (depending on experience) - Full Time - Immediate Start

SEN Teaching Assistant - Previous experience supporting pupils with SEN required

SEN Teaching Assistant - Must be confident supporting behaviour, communication and learning

The Role - SEN Teaching Assistant

Seeking a supportive and adaptable SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils aged 7-19 with moderate to severe learning difficulties and associated communication support needs. You will work alongside teachers and support staff to provide 1:1 and small-group support, help pupils access the curriculum and reinforce planned activities. The role involves supporting communication development, promoting positive behaviour strategies and contributing to a structured, calm and nurturing learning environment where pupils can build confidence and independence.

This specialist non-maintained provision is located in the London Borough of Hillingdon and is within walking distance of a nearby London Underground station. The school supports pupils aged 7-19 with moderate to severe learning difficulties, autism and associated communication needs through personalised, highly differentiated learning and therapeutic support.
