Salary: £34,000 - £38,000 per annum
Hours:
37.5 hours per week ( Rotating Shift pattern)

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Paint Sprayer to join our aerospace Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) team in Hayes. This role focuses on the preparation and application of protective and decorative coatings to aircraft landing gear components, working to OEM specifications and aerospace quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare, mask, and spray aircraft landing gear components using aerospace-grade paint systems and sealants
Mix paints and sealing compounds accurately in line with technical specifications
Carry out detailed surface preparation prior to coating
Operate and maintain spray equipment, spray booths, and curing ovens
Monitor equipment settings to ensure optimal finish quality and efficiency
Work effectively to production schedules and adapt to changing priorities
Complete all required documentation accurately
Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant working environment
Follow all environmental and health & safety procedures
Support team training and mentoring where appropriate
Skills and Experience Required
Proven experience as a Paint Sprayer (aerospace, automotive, or industrial preferred)
Strong understanding of coating systems, surface preparation, and finishing techniques
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
High level of attention to detail and quality workmanship
Good communication and teamwork skills
Knowledge of health and safety requirements when working with hazardous materials Qualifications
Engineering or similar apprenticeship (preferred)
GCSE level education or equivalent
Working Hours
37.5 hours per week on rotating shifts:
06:00 - 14:00
13:55 - 21:55
Flexibility required for overtime and occasional weekend work
Working Environment
Controlled spray booth environment
Use of PPE required
Exposure to paints, chemicals, and solvents
Additional Requirements
Must have the unrestricted right to live and work in the UK
Willing to complete mandatory training
