Manual Machinist

I'm currently recruiting on behalf of my client, who are a aircraft landing gear mro company, we are looking for an experienced Manual Machinist to join their Toolroom team.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a leading aerospace MRO environment, supporting precision tooling and production requirements.

Key Requirements:

Strong manual milling and turning experience (essential)
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Experience working to fine tolerances in a workshop/toolroom environment
Precision Grinding experience (surface or cylindrical) is advantageous
Precision engineering industry background preferred

The Role:

You will be responsible for manufacturing, modifying, and maintaining tooling, jigs, and fixtures to support aerospace production and repair operations. The role requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Location:

Hayes

Shift: Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm
Salary: £38,000 - £40,000
