Our client manufactures sweets, savories and ready meals for the aviation catering industry as well as retail, wholesale and food service sectors. Due to expansion, they are looking to recruit a Specification Technologist to join the team at this exciting time.

Role & Responsibilities:

Prepare, review and update product specifications
Request, maintain and complete customer and supplier documentation
Assist with audits
Calculate ingredient declarations, allergen information and nutritional values
Keep up to date with food legislation and industry best practise

Knowledge,

Skills & Experience:

Experience working in a technical role within food manufacturing
HACCP qualification
Auditing experience
Good understanding of food safety, food quality and food legislation
Good communication skills
