HGV Class 2 Driver

HGV Class 2 Driver – West Lothian People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client within the laundry and linen services sector in West Lothian. This is a fantastic opportunity offering consistent backshift hours, competitive rates of pay, and ongoing work with a reputable company. This position is ideal for applicants who have worked in a previous position as a LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver or Lorry Driver.

Shifts:

• Working Sunday to Thursday
• Start times between 14:00 and 22:00 Rates of Pay: • £15.25 - £16.25 per hour Benefits:

As a HGV Class 2 Driver , your duties will include (but are not limited to):
• Delivering and collecting linen and laundry products from customer locations
• Loading and unloading cages, bags and linen stock
• Completing delivery paperwork and vehicle checks
• Ensuring goods are delivered safely and on time
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery and collection points
• Adhering to all transport legislation and company procedures Essential

Skills:

To be successful as a HGV Class 2 Driver , you will need:
• Valid UK Class 2 (Category

C) licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Reliable and punctual
• Comfortable with manual handling and physical work
• Good understanding of driver hours and tachograph regulations Desirable

Experience:

• Previous multi-drop delivery experience
• Experience with in laundry, linen or hospitality distribution environments is advantageous Training:
