Accounts Assistant (Temporary)

We are seeking a temporary Accounts Assistant to join our team for a 6-week period, focusing primarily on bank reconciliations. This role is ideal for someone who is immediately available and has experience with various accounting software platforms.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Conduct daily bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
• Identify and resolve any discrepancies in the financial records.
• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure all financial data is recorded accurately.
• Utilise Profit (cloud-based) for financial management; familiarity with similar platforms like Sage, Access, or Quickbooks will be beneficial.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and other documentation as required by the finance team.

Required Skills &

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in bank reconciliations and general accounting practices.
• Proficiency in using cloud-based accounting software, preferably Profit. Experience with Sage, Access, or Quickbooks is also advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
