Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced PCU RN with Meditech experience and ACLS/BLS certifications for a night shift position.
Responsibilities- Work in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) of an acute care hospital
- Level 3 Trauma Center
- Caring for adult patients in a 1:4-5 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Night shifts, 4x12 hours from 19:00 to 07:00
- Weekend rotation required
- Floating within scope to meet facility needs
- Meditech charting experience required
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Scrub color of choice is allowed, with scrubs provided for OR/L&D/Cath Lab assignments
- Free parking available onsite
- All requested time off must be approved and documented before assignment start
- Active KS or compact RN license required at time of submission
- Minimum of one year recent PCU experience including IV start skills
- Certifications required: ACLS and BLS
- Two professional references required for consideration
- No pending licenses accepted
- Must reside outside a 60-mile radius to qualify for traveler status
