Job Description:
This operating room Registered Nurse position offers a rewarding 13-week contract in Hays, Kansas. You’ll be essential in supporting surgical teams during 10-hour shifts, primarily working daytime hours from 06:30 to 17:00. Some evenings, you’ll also be on peri-op on-call from 19:00 to 07:00, alternating between first and second call, giving you a unique chance to experience the surgical landscape in this friendly Midwestern city.
The role is perfect for an OR nurse with at least two years of experience, either in Kansas or with a compact license, ready to bring their expertise to assist in critical peri-operative procedures. Expect a mix of challenging cases and collaborative teamwork, with plenty of opportunities to develop your skills in a supportive environment.
Expect generally mild to warm weather around this time of year, with comfortable daytime temperatures and occasional breezes, making outdoor activities enjoyable and refreshing after your shifts.
