KANSAS | Department Lead | Hays

Bomgaars is seeking a motivated, responsible individual with retail experience to fill a Department Lead position. The individual will oversee operations of various departments throughout the store.

• Must be 18 years or older
• Retail knowledge/experience
• Product knowledge
• Clear and concise communication skills
• Administrative skills to process paperwork and record keeping
• Ability to multi-task
• Strong attention to detail/organizational skills
• Must be able to lift up to 50+ lbs on a regular basis and stand for long periods of time
• Committed to excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
• Must be available to work flexible schedules - days, evenings, weekends (shift premium paid for working on weekends)

• Freight handling/Forklift operation/Merchandising the sales floor
• Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately (cash, correct change, credit/debit cards, and checks)
• Ensure departments are clean, organized, and well stocked
• Assist customers with product selection and load outs
• Handling phone calls

Wage is $13.00 per hour or based on experience
