Job OverviewThe Sales Representative is responsible for achieving sales goals within their territory. They build and maintain customer relationships through communication and in-person appointments, consulting surgeons regarding Arthrex products and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Meet and exceed sales objectives by working with surgeons and healthcare professionals.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase territory results.
- Communicate product updates and educational programs to customers.
- Implement marketing strategies and manage product introductions.
- Address account issues and support compliance with laws and company policies.
- Receive and transfer sales knowledge through coaching and training.
- Maintain training in sales skills and product features.
- Collect industry and competitive data, and participate in meetings.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds as needed.
- At least 3 years of orthopedic or related experience; sports experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Ability to relate to customers in the orthopedic/sports medicine market.
- Comfortable in open operating room environments.
- Knowledge of orthopedic procedures, terminology, and OR protocols.
- Ability to learn technical information related to surgery.
- Prior sales experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Ability to create effective business plans.
- Strong communication and public speaking skills.
- Sense of urgency and ability to work under pressure.
- Self-confidence and a competitive drive.
- Ability to work independently and responsibly.
- Compliance with all policies.
- Valid driver’s license and access to transportation.
