Shipping Clerk

Job Title: Shipping Clerk

Reports to: Shipping Supervisor

This position is responsible for packing and shipping all finished products for delivery.

• Ensure all shipping documents and functions are completed accurately and on time.
• Prepare outgoing packages for shipment utilizing UPS, Fed-Ex and other delivery services.
• Ensure that orders are completed and the proper labels and paperwork have been applied.
• Screen for obvious damage on parts.
• Verify any discrepancies in quantity.
• Operate stretch wrap banders and build pallets for shipments.
• Operate dolly, pallet jack to loading and unloading material/products.
• Strong attention to details with a focus on accuracy.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

• 1-2 years of related hands-on experience in a shipping role for manufacturing.
• Computer experience skills.
• Good interpersonal skills required.
• Warehouse or forklift experience is a plus.
• Ability to bend, twist, kneel, squat and stand working up to 10 hrs. a day.
• Ability to lift/carry, push/pull up to 50–60lbs.
• Have a valid Driver’s License.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to take initiative, including asking for and offering help when needed; perform work independently without being prompted as well as contributing to a team effort.

Job Type: Full Time Mon –Thurs. 6:30am – 5:00pm and Fri/Sat. OT as needed.

Compensation: $13-16/hour
