Production Supervisor – Weckworth Mfg., Inc.

Weckworth Manufacturing is an established small business headquartered in Haysville, Kansas. We are a leading industrial textile manufacturer, best known for federal government contracting work and producing thousands of national stock numbered (NSN) lines for a variety of federal agencies and other OEM organizations. With over 250 industrial sewing machines and a full complement of engineering services, we provide design assistance, prototypes, product evaluation, and high‑quality manufacturing for custom textile products.

This role reports to the Director of Operations and leads a team of 2-3 manufacturing leads who oversee 12-18 direct labor employees. The supervisor oversees all activities related to production, personnel, and workflow of products.

• Manage the production of many different sewn products with diverse fabrication across multiple production lines.
• Achieve high performance by communicating job expectations; planning, coaching, and training employees.
• Manage workflow by monitoring steps of the production process to meet performance expectations and deadlines.
• Maintain accurate and timely productivity data for each job in‑process.
• Enforce quality workmanship requirements by maintaining standards and policies.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.

• Minimum of 3 years of people management experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Access, and SQL.
• Ability to work onsite in Haysville, KS.
• High school diploma or GED.

• OSHA or forklift certification.

Full‑time, Monday – Thursday 6:30 am – 5:00 pm and Friday 6:30 am – 11:30 am. Overtime Saturday as needed.

$65,000–$75,000 annually.
