We are an industrial textile manufacturer, best known for our federal government contracting work and have produced several thousand national stock numbered (NSN) lines for a variety of federal agencies, large and small OEM organizations, as well as individuals who want to see their product taken from concept to product. With over 250 industrial sewing machines (single needle, double needle, box "X", bar tackers and programmables) and several radio frequency, hot wedge and hot fabric welders, we're prepared to manufacture to established product configuration.

We also offer a full complement of engineering services. Whether you need design assistance, prototypes or product evaluation, our experienced engineers are ready to put our CAD system to work for you. If a fabric can be cut, sewn, glued, snapped, buttoned, buckled, cinched, clipped, riveted, welded or otherwise bonded, we can fashion it into a product to fit your specifications.

Position Overview

The Estimator/Planner is responsible for developing accurate project estimates and ensuring that resources—materials, machines, and manpower—are identified to meet deadlines and maintain quality. This role is both analytical and collaborative, requiring regular coordination with engineering, purchasing, production, and sales teams.

Key Responsibilities Estimating
  • Review and interpret customer drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
  • Identify material requirements, production steps, labor needs, and equipment requirements.
  • Build estimates that include bills of material and labor hours.
Production Planning
  • Develop and maintain detailed production build packages that optimize workflow.
  • Coordinate with purchasing to ensure that material quantities are identified and sourced in accordance with customer requirements.
  • Identify necessary machines, processes, and personnel needed to complete jobs.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Experience:

    Minimum 3–5 years in estimating or production planning in a manufacturing environment (fabrication, textiles, or similar industry preferred).
  • Technical

    Skills:

    Ability to read and interpret technical drawings; proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Analytical

    Skills:

    Strong mathematical ability and cost analysis skills.
  • Organizational

    Skills:

    Exceptional time management with the ability to handle multiple projects at once.
  • Communication:
    Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.

Hours
:
Mon-Thurs. 7:30am – 5:30pm & Friday 7:30am to 11:30am.

Compensation: $28-31.25/per hour
