A bilingual school psychologist is needed for the school year to support a K-12 school located in Hayward, CA. This contract position focuses on providing comprehensive psycho educational evaluations and collaborating in multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct psycho educational assessments to evaluate students’ cognitive, academic, social, and emotional functioning.
- Interpret and report assessment results to determine eligibility for special education services and inform tailored educational plans.
- Actively participate in IEP meetings, offering expertise to guide team decision‑making.
- Provide culturally and linguistically responsive psychological services in both English and Spanish.
- Hold appropriate credentials and certification as a school psychologist, with experience in K-12 settings.
- Ability to conduct bilingual assessments and communicate effectively with students, families, and educators in both English and Spanish.
- Strong skills in psycho educational testing, report writing, and collaborative team involvement.
- Knowledge of special education law, assessment tools, and intervention strategies.
