As one of the first members of the Voya team, you will have a key role in the development of the company. The successful candidate will take a leading role in setting the scientific direction of the company.
ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and validate a high-power metal-air fuel cell for Voya’s generator.
Develop novel current collector and electrode architectures to improve cell power, efficiency, and durability.
Work with Voya’s material scientists to select and optimize cathode, anode, and electrolyte materials and form-factor.
Work with Voya’s product development team to scale and demonstrate your cell from lab to pilot and production-intent systems.
Track record of developing novel electrochemical cell architectures. Experience with flow-based systems (e.g. fuel cells, flow batteries, electrolyzers) preferred.
Experience working with cross-functional teams, preferably for system or device development.
Ability to operate in a fast-paced, start-up environment
Results-oriented with a strong sense urgency
