Responsibilities

Know how to use a Quality Management System designed to ensure continuous production of products that meet or exceed our customers’ expectations, 3rd party accreditation bodies and are consistent with established standards, customer specifications, and production goals.

  • Interact with vendors to ensure the quality of all purchased parts.
  • Maintain active roles on internal Continuous Improvement Teams.
  • Prepare for 3rd Party and Customer audits.
  • Address Non‑Conformances from all internal and external audits.
  • Follow up on and close pending Preventive and Corrective Action Requests.
  • Develop and administer an effective program for controlling and measuring equipment.
  • Oversee Engineering Change Request/Engineering Change Notice process and training.
  • Support New Product Introduction to customer requirements and specifications.
  • Manage quality alerts from production to drive awareness.
  • Assist the management team and provide QA support as necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • B.S. degree in Material Science or Engineering is preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years related experience required.
  • Experience with developing/documenting procedures.
  • Use of Quality Engineering methods in inspection.
  • Working knowledge of statistical techniques and tools.
  • Computer proficiency.
Additional Requirements
  • Quality orientation and high attention to detail.
  • Experience working with high performance teams.
  • Problem analysis and problem resolution skills.
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Must be able to clearly present ideas and reports in written and verbal format.
  • Must be able to work well with external contacts of the Company.
  • Must adhere to all Company policies.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be capable of sitting and using a computer for the majority of an 8‑hour workday.
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds, on occasion.
  • Must be capable of traveling within the US and internationally.

  • Citizen of the United States, or

  • Protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) as defined by 22

Salary Range

Salaried exempt $58,000 – $72,000 plus bonus potential 10%.

Location

Position is 100% onsite in Hayward, CA.
