This PRN Respiratory Therapist is responsible for patients with respiratory and related equipment. The role includes assessing patient needs, selecting, instructing, and troubleshooting equipment, and maintaining proper documentation.

• Receive and document orders for respiratory equipment/services from various sources.
• Gather additional information from insurance or physicians as needed.
• Assess patient needs and determine appropriate respiratory therapy or services.
• Instruct and educate patients and caregivers on proper use and care of respiratory equipment, following policies and procedures.
• Communicate with physicians regarding changes in patient condition and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Complete patient documentation, including Plans of Care and assessments.
• Serve as a liaison among Super Care Health, patients, families, caregivers, and physicians.
• Take responsibility for personal actions, professional skills, and attitudes.
• Follow all policies and procedures, including JCAHO standards.
• Conduct follow-up visits to ensure continuity of care.
• Provide 24/7 on-call services as scheduled.
• Set up respiratory equipment within scheduled times to ensure patient satisfaction.
• Assist marketing and other departments as needed.
• Demonstrate professionalism, courtesy, patience, and sincerity with patients.
• Support Super Care Health by being loyal and reporting concerns.
• Adhere to all company policies.
• Stay informed about all products and maintain a professional, safe, and clean work environment.

• Graduate from an accredited RT program and hold a valid RCP license.
• Experience as a Respiratory Therapist (PRN).
• Thorough knowledge of respiratory care.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• People-sensitive with a genuine desire to help others.
• Detail-oriented.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of background checks, reference checks, driving record (if applicable), and pre-employment drug and TB tests.
