DaVita Kidney Care is looking for a Patient Care Technician to provide compassionate care in an outpatient dialysis center. This float position will allow you to work in multiple clinics and build relationships with patients suffering from end‑stage renal disease or chronic kidney disease.
Some Details About This Position- No dialysis experience required.
- Training may take place in a facility or a training clinic other than your assigned home clinic.
- Potential to float to various clinics during and after training.
- Must have a flexible schedule and be able to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Direct patient care – majority of the day spent one‑on‑one with patients.
- Care for multiple patients during a shift.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis, including recording vitals and setting up hemodialysis machines.
- Build long‑term relationships and educate patients on kidney dialysis topics.
- Work under the supervision of a registered nurse as part of a cross‑functional team.

- Paid training.
- Prior dialysis experience required.
- Desire to care for patients in need.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Comfort with blood and needles.
- Comfort mixing acids or bicarbonate.
- Physical and mental ability to work long hours (some shifts >12 hours) on your feet; comfortable shoes required.
- Willingness to train and work across multiple clinics.
- Healthcare experience a plus: BONENT Certified, Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Phlebotomy certification.
