Job Description OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Data Architect to join the Enterprise Data Architecture team. This role will drive enterprise-wide data strategy, architecture standards, cloud data platform design, and modernization initiatives across Azure and Snowflake environments.
Responsibilities- Define and maintain enterprise data architecture standards and roadmaps.
- Design scalable data platforms, data lakes, and data warehouses on Azure and Snowflake.
- Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
- Lead data governance, metadata, lineage, security, and data quality initiatives.
- Partner with business, analytics, engineering, and architecture teams to deliver enterprise data solutions.
- Guide cloud migration and data modernization programs.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineering teams.
- 12+ years in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, or Data Warehousing.
- Deep experience with Snowflake Architecture & Administration
. - Strong database expertise in SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or similar platforms.
- Expertise in Data Modeling, Data Warehousing, ETL/ELT, and Data Governance.
- Experience with enterprise-scale analytics and reporting environments.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Financial Services industry experience.
- Experience with DBT, Informatica, Matillion, or similar tools.
- Azure and/or Snowflake certifications.
- Exposure to AI/ML and modern data platform initiatives.
This is a senior, hands-on architecture role focused on enterprise data strategy, governance, and cloud data platform architecture.
