Associate Criminal Defense Attorney - Virtuoso Law; Hayward

We are looking for a motivated Associate Attorney to join our team. In this role, you’ll handle a variety of legal matters including research, drafting, and client representation. You’ll have the opportunity to work alongside experienced attorneys, gaining hands-on experience while building your skills and professional confidence. Key Responsibilities

• Draft contracts, briefs, motions, and other legal documents
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis
• Prepare for and represent clients in legal proceedings
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to provide strategic legal counsel
• Negotiate effectively on behalf of clients
• Maintain accurate and detailed client records

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and successful completion of the bar exam
• Active membership in the American Bar Association (ABA)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
• Collaborative mindset with a focus on client success
