Sugar Bowl Bakery is a family‑owned bakery producing high‑quality, delicious treats enjoyed nationwide.

We’re looking for a Quality Assurance Technician to join our 3rd shift (night shift) team. This is a hands‑on role in food manufacturing.

Please note:

this is not a software/tech QA job—experience in a food facility is required.

• Inspect ingredients and products at every stage of production.
• Enforce food safety programs (GMPs, HACCP, SSOP) and resolve issues quickly.
• Decide on product holds and releases.
• Review production paperwork and maintain audit readiness.
• Support staff training on food safety and quality standards.
• Conduct shelf‑life tracking, lab testing, and supplier/material audits.
• Perform plant walkthroughs to monitor sanitation, allergen control, and pest management.

• At least 2 years of QA/QC experience in food manufacturing (required).
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, sanitation, allergen control, and pest control.
• Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written).
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Degree in Food Science, Quality, or a related field.
• Experience with baked goods, beverages, or other consumer packaged goods.
• Ready for steady 3rd shift hours.

: 2nd shift (swing 2pm - 10:30pm) or 3rd shift (10pm - 6:30am night)
