• Set up, operate, and monitor laser cutting machines to produce precision sheet metal parts.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and perform in‑process and first‑article inspections.
• Adjust laser parameters to ensure consistent cut quality across materials and thicknesses.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records using ERP systems like Job Boss.
• Follow safety protocols and support a clean, organized shop environment (5S/6S).

• Proven experience operating laser cutting equipment such as Amada or Mazak systems.
• Strong blueprint reading skills with knowledge of GD&T and precision measuring tools.
• Experience performing first‑articled inspections and ensuring tight tolerances.
• Comfortable in a high‑mix, low‑volume manufacturing setting.
• Basic computer skills, including ERP systems; aerospace, defense, or medical manufacturing background a plus.
