Warehouse Coordinator Chipton-Ross, Hayward, CA, United States
Basic Qualifications- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Proficient in warehouse management systems and PC environments.
- Ability to lift 10‑50 pounds.
- Experience operating forklift and other material handling equipment.
- Willingness to work overtime as required.
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
- Process the receipt of all inbound freight by packing slip and purchase order, and process all outbound shipments ensuring all shipments are labeled correctly.
- Prepare parcels for shipping.
- Replenish product in assigned stocking location and manage picking, packing, staging, and shipping.
- Assist the warehouse specialist in cycle counting when needed.
- Direct workflow in the receiving area, setting priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Read production schedule, work order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
- Fill work orders, material requests, sample requests and distribute to Manufacturing, Engineering, and/or Quality teams.
- Kit / stage work orders in specified sequence according to the production schedule.
- Use pallet jack, forklift, and other material handling equipment to move materials.
- PIT certification preferred.
- Maintain material handling equipment and report any potential problems.
- Perform physical counts, spot‑checks, and periodic inventory verification, including monthly and annual physical inventory and record keeping.
- Keep raw material, MRO, and Finished Good racks neat and organized; keep receiving area and aisles clean, organized, and free of hazards and obstructions.
- Transfer material to production lines from the warehouse physically and in the inventory control system; transfer "return to stock" material back to the warehouse physical location and in the inventory control system.
- Work with quality receiving and inspection department to ensure materials are properly staged for sampling, proper samples are available with labels, and staged in proper area(s).
- Complete bill of lading, packing list, seal assignment, and barcode assignments for shipping orders.
- Comply with SOPs, GMPs, safety rules and regulations, and departmental procedures.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures.
- Assist in completing preventive maintenance activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Accredited high school diploma or equivalent required; AA preferred.
