RN - Emergency 310 at St. Rose Hospital

FULL‑TIME (0.9) NOC SHIFT (7 PM–7 AM). Approximate pay range: $57.48–$86.12 per hour. Under general supervision, the RN assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients during a designated time frame. The nurse provides care consistent with the policies, procedures, and standards of care e Hospital.

• Assessment: Performs systematic assessment and data collection focusing on the physiological, cultural, psychological, spiritual, and cognitive status of the patient.
• Planning: Evaluates, develops, and prioritizes a plan of care that is individualized and goal‑directed based on nursing diagnosis, patient needs, and standards of care.
• Implementation: Provides safe therapeutic care in a knowledgeable, skillful, and continuous manner involving all members of the health‑care team. Demonstrates competence in caring for pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric patients when assigned.
• Evaluation: Assesses and evaluates the patient plan of care and teaching needs. Documents effectiveness and revises plans as needed.
• Professional Behavior – Confidentiality and Legal Issues: Demonstrates awareness and sensitivity to legal issues and patient rights in a confidential manner.
• Professional Accountability: Maintains current California licensure and service‑specific certifications while demonstrating responsibility and accountability for professional practice based on the Nurse Practice Act and hospital standards of care.
• Leadership and Problem Solving: Supervises and delegates care given by members of the health‑care team while promoting professional growth and positive learning experiences.

• Current and valid CA Registered Nurse license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – current.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – current.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – current (within 6 months of hire).
• National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification – current.
• Assaultive Behavior Training – current.
• Sexual Harassment / Bullying Prevention Certification – current (1 month from hire).
• Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) – preferred.
• Minimum two‑years Emergency Department experience – preferred.

Minimum 2 years of experience in an emergency department. Associate/Diploma or higher in nursing. No referrals or candidates accepted from recruiters or agencies.
