Wound Care Specialist - NP / PA (Part-Time, 1-4 days/week) –

We have an exciting opportunity for a part‑time Wound Care Specialist to work in the Hayward, CA area. Qualified candidates will round at multiple facilities within a designated territory.

• Active state professional license
• Valid driver’s license

• Weekday commitment only; no call, evenings, or weekends
• Deliver wound care at the bedside in post‑acute settings
• Round daily at multiple facilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, with focus on wound risk factors
• Collaborate with facility staff to develop effective wound‑care plans
• Perform wound debridement and prescribe appropriate dressings
• Educate nursing staff and maintain open communication with primary care physicians, families, and clinical teams as required
• Order necessary medications and provide clear instructions for use
• Provide quality care to the geriatric patient population
