Hayward Gardens Post Acute is seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our nursing team on the part-time shift. If you enjoy helping others, providing quality resident care, and making a positive difference every day, we encourage you to apply!

What You’ll DoAs a CNA, you will provide daily nursing care and assistance in accordance with each resident’s individualized care plan and facility policies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, and personal hygiene.

Help residents with mobility, transfers, repositioning, and transportation using appropriate equipment.

Answer call lights promptly and ensure residents’ comfort, safety, and personal needs are met.

Measure and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and respirations, as directed.

Assist residents with meals and hydration, record food and fluid intake, and report changes in eating habits.

Observe residents for changes in condition, skin breakdown, injuries, or other concerns and promptly notify the nursing supervisor.

Maintain clean, comfortable beds and living areas, changing linens and clothing as needed.

Assist with admissions, room transfers, and discharges as assigned.

Follow infection control procedures and established safety protocols.

Maintain accurate documentation and protect residents’ confidential health information.

Report accidents, incidents, suspected abuse, and safety concerns promptly.

Treat every resident with dignity, respect, compassion, and patience.

Collaborate with nurses and other facility team members to provide quality resident care.

Qualifications Current and valid California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.

Compensation and Benefits $23–$26 per hour, depending on experience
