Aboutthe Role
We are a growing food service distributor focused on plant‑based ingredients, finished goods, beverages, and compostable to‑go supplies. Our customers include restaurants, cafés, franchise locations, corporate dining programs, and emerging chain accounts. We’re hiring an experienced sales rep who already understands food service and can open accounts, drive repeat orders, and build sustainable revenue.
What You’ll Do- Open net‑new food service accounts across:
- Franchise locations (independent owners)
- Corporate dining / tech campuses
- Small chain pilots & rollouts
- Manage the full sales cycle:
- Build and maintain a qualified sales pipeline
- Grow average order value (delivery MOQ: $450, newer accounts avg $700+)
- Maintain pricing and margin discipline
- Coordinate clean handoffs to operations and customer service
- 3–5 net‑new active accounts
- $10k–$15k collected revenue
- 30–40 qualified prospects in pipeline
- 8–10 cumulative active accounts (≥2 orders each)
- $25k–$35k monthly revenue run‑rate
- $45k–$60k monthly revenue run‑rate
- 3+ years in food service, wholesale, or distributor sales
- Existing relationships with restaurants, cafés, hospitality groups, or corporate dining
- Comfortable selling minimum order quantities and driving reorders
- Self‑directed, organized, and accountable to numbers
- Experience with plant‑based, natural, or specialty foods is a plus
- Base: $3,000–$4,000/month (experience‑based)
- Commission:
Revenue‑based, paid on every order (not just first order) - Quarterly Bonuses:
Paid for hitting multi‑account and multi‑channel growth milestones
- Clear targets and transparent pay structure
- Real ownership of a territory
- Products aligned with sustainability and modern food service
- Growth path into larger accounts and higher earnings

This role is best suited for experienced reps who are comfortable being measured on pipeline, accounts, and revenue within the first 90 days.
Qualifications- Strong sales and negotiation skills, with experience in account management and client relationship building
- Familiarity with plant‑based, sustainable, or specialty food products
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to assess market trends, conduct research, and analyze potential sales opportunities
- Proficiency in CRM tools and sales tracking software
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned region
- Experience in the food service, hospitality, or distribution industry is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
