Service Tech

Overview

Rite-Hite Service Technicians will install, maintain, and repair loading dock equipment and industrial doors at customer facilities. In addition, Service Technicians act as a technical resource for our customers and our sales force. This position works independently or in small teams in a field service environment, and is a primary customer contact.

• Serve as a technical resource for customers and the sales force.
• Work independently or in small teams in a field service environment; act as a primary customer contact.

• Experience welding and working with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Prior experience in the repair or installation of industrial equipment is preferred.
• Ability to work independently in a field environment; good customer service skills required.
• Ability to work outdoors, at heights, and lift up to 100 pounds.
• As this position requires driving a company vehicle, a pre-employment drug test and clean driving record are required, as is a DOT physical.

• Pay range: $20-35 per hour. Geographic differentials considered in higher cost of living areas.
• Nine paid holidays:
  New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day After Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Eve.
• New employees eligible for up to two weeks of vacation (pro-rated based on hire date within the first year).
• Additional paid time off based on tenure; PTO accrual based on time in role; 72 hours PTO for California employees (1 hour for every 40 hours worked).
