We are looking for a full-time, enthusiastic and motivated dispatcher with great communication skills and attention to detail to join our team to ensure timely dispatch and delivery of customer shipments.
Responsibilities- Scheduling and dispatching drivers
- Data entry into dispatching software
- Responding to customer emails
- Handle customer queries and requests
- Send customised quotations for new jobs
- Record and maintain files and records of each job performed
- Oversee all communication with the drivers on the road
- Demonstrate high standards of performance, including teamwork, communications and compassion
- Dispatch drivers, provide correct paperwork, BOLs and plan daily routes
- Ensure that truck drivers comply with transportation regulations and laws
- Track drivers logs such as dispatched orders and arrival times and POD times
- Monitor truck repairs and ensure their regular maintenance
- Record customer complaints and create action plans to fix them
- Create dispatch documents along with generating invoices and freight bills
- Coordinate with customers about delivery details such as pick up and delivery times
