DRIVER/SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE
Our drivers utilize a 16’ box truck or pick‑up truck for all service calls. These vehicles do not require a special license. All of our trucks are equipped with lift‑gates for loading and transporting rental equipment. We are a portable‑equipment company, so most of our equipment is on wheels, although a few smaller items are equipped with handles for carrying.
Occasional lifting is required; all service representatives must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Our staff is trained to install our rental equipment for clients. Most service calls involve installation—finding an adequate power source and a suitable venting location for ductwork.
Job Requirements- Cellphone with GPS/Google Navigation for mapping routes
- Clean driving record
- Text and cellphone communication within the team (reimbursement provided)
- Communication and customer‑service skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (team assistance will be available)
- Pull and stage rental equipment for deliveries
- Load and secure equipment for transportation
- Perform deliveries and pick‑ups in a timely and courteous manner
- Uniform polo and khaki attire will be provided, along with steel‑toe boots for working hours
- Install equipment upon delivery and break‑down the equipment upon removal
- Briefly instruct clients on how to use our rental equipment
- Adhere to all applicable driving and parking laws
- Clean and test rental inventory/accessories
- Perform general maintenance on rental equipment
- Routinely check vehicles for tire and oil needs
- Maintain an organized shop and tool area
- Assist/support general tasks as needed
Because we are a 24/7 emergency service company, we provide service during nights and weekends. Service representatives operate on a rotating call‑schedule; the on‑call rep must respond after‑hours to any emergency call received. Compensation for after‑hours calls is $200 per call‑out regardless of distance.
