Salary: $22-$24 per hour
Warehouse Associate
The position requires, under limited supervision, perform a variety of duties associated with maintaining the warehouse and supervising receiving, stocking, distributing, and inventorying of supplies and equipment, perform related duties as assigned and local deliveries.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensures that customer service standards (on-time shipment, completion of order, etc.) are achieved.
- Ensure compliance with delivery schedule and quality of products delivered.
- Follows safety, hygiene and housekeeping rules and good practices.
- Ability to learn multiple tasks and work in different production areas.
- Monitors the unloading of all materials into the Receiving areas; ensures materials are staged for counting and inspection; ensures receiving reports accurately report material received.
- Resolves discrepancies with accounting regarding invoices, packing slips, and receiver reports. Monitors the flow of paperwork from Receiving to Inventory Control for timely data entry. Oversees the movement of material from Receiving to the Warehouse in an efficient, effective, and safe manner.
- Manages the finished goods inventory to reduce adjustments for spoilage and damage to goal.
- Oversees the supplying of materials to Production and stages material for mixing purposes. Ensures materials are stored properly to conserve space and comply with safety procedures. Oversees the rotation of inventories within the warehouse (First In-First-Out).
- Understands safety performance to meet company/regulatory requirements and to ensure injury goals are achieved.
- Ensure that the warehouse equipment is maintained and functional.
- Ensure the warehouse and team is compliant with GMPs. This includes maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse and docks.
- Enforces and Complies with GMPs, Food Safety and OSHA rules and practices. Wears the proper safety equipment.
- Performs other related duties as needed.
- Conduct quality inspections on processes, raw materials, and finished products
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations including health and sanitation as well as Organic, Non-GMO, Kosher procedures.
- Assist other Departments as required
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with other team members
- Ability to work safely and multi-task in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Promotes a harassment-free environment.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the operator is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
- Wears required safety equipment including but not limited to; hearing protection and safety glasses.
