Rolling Temporary Contract (Up to 6 Months)
OverviewWe’re working with a well-established organisation based in Haywards Heath who are seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant to join their finance team on a rolling temporary contract for up to 6 months.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced purchase ledger professional who can hit the ground running and support the team during a busy period.
Key Responsibilities- Processing high-volume supplier invoices
- Matching, batching and coding invoices
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Preparing and assisting with payment runs
- Handling supplier queries and resolving discrepancies
- Maintaining accurate purchase ledger records
- Supporting month‑end close processes
- Previous experience in an Accounts Payable / Purchase Ledger role
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Confident communicator
- Available immediately or at short notice
