The School and Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated KS1 Classroom Teacher to work in a welcoming and supportive primary school in Eastbourne. This role is available full time or as a job share, starting in February.
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative lessons to Key Stage 1 pupils, supporting their academic progress while nurturing their personal and social development. The school has a strong focus on inclusive learning, teamwork, and creating a positive environment where children feel confident and motivated to learn.
You will be joining a hard-working, friendly team who are committed to giving children a strong foundation in their education through high-quality teaching and strong pastoral care.
The ideal KS1 Classroom Teacher will have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – Essential
Experience teaching in Key Stage 1
A strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum
The ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners
The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
