We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our growing Building Services team. The role emphasises Mechanical and Public Health engineering, though candidates with a purely mechanical background are also encouraged to apply.

The successful candidate will typically have 6–10 years’ experience within Building Services engineering, with at least 50% of this experience focused on HVAC design. A minimum of one year’s direct experience working with cooling systems is essential. Experience in new‑build mechanical and public health system design is preferred, as this role is predominantly aligned with new‑build project delivery rather than refurbishment‑led schemes.

• 6–10 years’ experience in Building Services engineering
• Minimum 1 year’s direct experience with cooling systems
• Knowledge of psychrometric calculations and close‑control air conditioning (desirable)
• Experience designing mechanical and public health systems for new‑build projects (preferred)
• Actively working towards Chartership (CIBSE, IMechE, or MIET)
• Right to Work in the UK
• Full UK Driving Licence

• 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
• Office‑based role at our Haywards Heath office (Sussex)
• In‑person working is strongly preferred to support collaboration and effective project delivery
