Site Engineer - Water Infrastructure

We are currently working with a well-established Civil Engineering specialist with a strong track record in delivering water infrastructure projects. They are looking to appoint an experienced Site Engineer to support the delivery of a long-term programme of works in Sussex.

The successful candidate will be involved across wastewater infrastructure projects, with responsibility for setting out, quality control and supporting the site team throughout construction.

• Setting out works accurately in accordance with drawings and specifications
• Carrying out site measurements and dimensional control
• Ensuring works are constructed to the required specification and tolerances
• Completing quality checks and maintaining QA records
• Reviewing drawings and specifications and identifying any issues
• Supporting the Site Manager and wider project team
• Liaising with subcontractors and site teams
• Producing and maintaining as-built information
• Assisting with inspections, testing and handover documentation
• Ensuring health, safety and environmental requirements are followed

• Previous experience as a Site Engineer within civil engineering
• Experience working on water or wastewater infrastructure projects
• Strong setting-out experience
• Good understanding of quality assurance and site documentation
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Relevant engineering qualificationCSCS
• Strong communication and organisational skills

This is a long-term opportunity of 6+ months with an established Civil Engineering specialist, working on wastewater infrastructure projects in Sussex
