South Coast Nursing Homes are recruiting for a Laundry Assistant to join our team at Eastridge Manor, our dementia specialist Nursing home in Bolney,  Heath.

Hours
:

WK 1 - Tuesday 8-6, Friday 8-6

This role will involve:

• Operate Washer/Dryers to launder clothes, linens and resident personal belongings
• To take particular care with resident’s personal laundry, to prevent accidental damage and present in well ironed state.
• To check resident’s personal laundry for tears, broken zips or lost buttons and refer to manager for discussion if a repair if necessary.
• To be aware of colour coded laundry bags and the temperature required to launder.
• To launder and iron home curtains and nets as needed
• To maintain a high standard of hygiene throughout the laundry room area

• Hourly rate £12.21 weekdays and £12.82 weekends
