Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring 5+ years of recent L&D experience and a KY or compact license.
Responsibilities- Work in a hospital Labor and Delivery unit
- Patient population includes expectant mothers and newborns
- Shift is 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Bi-weekly orientation provided
- Schedule rotates 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next
- Uses Meditech EMR system; experience required
- Staffing ratios may fluctuate with unit census and staffing needs
- Main responsibilities include the care and monitoring of laboring women and newborns
- Travel pairs are not permitted for this assignment
- No local candidates accepted per radius rule
- Orientation is provided every other week
- Active KY or compact state RN license required
- Minimum of 5 years of recent Labor and Delivery nursing experience
- Certifications required: BLS (AHA only), ACLS (AHA only), NRP (AHA only), NIH certification, Intermediate AWHONN Fetal Monitoring
- Experience with Meditech EMR required
- Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility for consideration
