Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry position requiring a KY or compact RN license and current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.

• Work in the Telemetry unit (2 North) within a hospital setting
• Care for short-stay, Med/Surg telemetry, and observation patients
• Patient ratios typically 1:6 or 1:7, with potential fluctuation based on census
• 12-hour day shifts from 07:00 to 19:30
• Rotation of 36 hours one week, 48 hours the next week
• Floating to other units required during periods of low census
• Orientation provided bi-weekly
• Holiday policy applies for all requested time off
• No local candidates are accepted
• Travel pairs are not allowed for this assignment
• Applicants must not be submitted to more than one job at a time

• Active KY or compact RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required (AHA only)
• Minimum of one year Med/Surg or Telemetry RN experience
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility
• Two professional references and copy of driver's license required for consideration
