Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift LTACH Med Surg/ICU position requiring LTACH background and a KY or compact RN license.
Responsibilities- Work in a Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) on a combined Med Surg/ICU unit
- Patient ratios are 1:4
- Uses Meditech EMR
- Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Bi-weekly orientation provided
- Weekly rotation of 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next week
- No local candidates accepted; candidate must reside at least 100 miles from the facility
- Work alongside a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced LTACH setting
- Travel pair placements are not allowed for this assignment
- Regular bi-weekly orientation ensures familiarity with unit protocols and team integration
- Assignment requires candidates to maintain a consistent gap-free work history
- Active KY or compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of current LTACH experience
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIH certification required
- Experience with Meditech EMR preferred
- Must provide two professional references and a copy of Driver’s License for consideration
