Manufacturing Supervisor (Controls)
Epitec is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor (Controls) to join our automotive client's team. As a Manufacturing Supervisor, the candidate will play a pivotal role in leading daily operations within a hands‑on, high‑tech machine‑build environment. You will oversee a team of skilled machine builders, prototype technicians, and assembly personnel responsible for delivering world‑class precision machinery.

- Lead and coordinate daily activities of machine builders, assemblers, and technicians
- Assign work, manage priorities, and ensure on‑time project execution
- Provide hands‑on leadership and mentorship while actively supporting the team on the floor
- Collaborate with engineering, project management, and quality teams to resolve build challenges
- Interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and detailed work instructions
- Oversee assembly accuracy, alignment, and final machine performance
- Conduct daily team huddles to communicate goals, safety, and production targets
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient shop environment compliant with OSHA standards
- Participate in continuous improvement and lean initiatives
- Support troubleshooting, quality inspections, and final system testing
- 5+ years in manufacturing, machine building, CNC machining, or production assembly
- 3+ years of supervisory or team lead experience
- Background in precision machinery, automation, or automotive/EV systems
- Experience with lean manufacturing, Kaizen, or continuous improvement
- Technical training or certification in mechanical/industrial fields
