As an Electrical Engineering Technician, you will support the development of cutting-edge products from concept through production. Our Quality Engineering team is looking for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys working with lab equipment, and takes pride in upholding high standards. What You’ll Do
- Partner with Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, and Production teams to support product testing, compliance sampling, and documentation throughout the product lifecycle.
- Execute safe and efficient testing of electronic assemblies to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Verify system and circuit functionality by conducting thorough performance tests and accurately documenting results.
- Create clear and detailed test reports, charts, and graphs using Microsoft Office tools to support data-driven decisions.
- Assist in pilot production runs by providing real-time technical support and ensuring product quality is upheld.
- Collaborate across departments to troubleshoot issues and drive continuous improvement.
- Interpret technical materials, such as schematics, PCB layouts, datasheets, drawings, and BOMs to ensure accurate product fabrication and validation.
- Operate essential lab and test equipment such as soldering irons, oscilloscopes, power supplies, multimeters, and hand tools with precision and care.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work environment to support efficient workflows.
- Take initiative in additional tasks and responsibilities that contribute to quality assurance and cross-functional success.
What You Bring
Experience That Drives Success
- Associate’s/technical degree in electrical engineering technology or related, or equivalent experience in a similar role.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in an engineering environment.
- Hands-on experience with PCB testing, soldering, and possible assembly.
- Proven history of troubleshooting electronic components, printed circuit assemblies, and hardware.
- Prior experience using schematic capture and PCB design software (ex: Altium).
- Working knowledge of analog/digital circuit principles and embedded microprocessor controls.
- Understanding of power supply principles and circuits.
- Acts with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proactive time management and ability to work on many projects at various points of the product development cycle.
