Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an acute inpatient rehab night shift position requiring a PA or Compact RN license and recent inpatient rehab experience.

• Position is in an acute inpatient rehabilitation unit
• Night shift, 7:00 pm - 7:30 am with 3x12 hour shifts per week
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Patient ratio is 1:6
• No call or floating requirements
• First-time travelers are accepted for this position
• Block scheduling is not available
• Requested time off (RTO) must be provided at the time of consideration
• Responsibilities include monitoring blood glucose and caring for patients with ports
• Must work every other weekend and every other holiday

• Active PA or Compact RN license in hand
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of inpatient rehab RN experience required
• Experience in blood glucose monitoring and care and management of ports required
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Local candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay
