Employment Type: Full-time

Working Pattern: 5 days per week (including Saturdays on a rota basis)

Flame Health Optometry is recruiting on behalf of a reputable independent optical and hearing care provider that is seeking a Practice Manager to join its well-established practice in the East Derbyshire area.

The Practice Manager will support the day-to-day running of the practice, working closely with the senior management team to ensure the branch operates efficiently, profitably and to the highest professional standards.

• Supporting the management of daily practice operations
• Supervising, motivating and developing team members
• Driving business growth and commercial performance
• Ensuring excellent customer and patient care standards
• Maintaining smooth operational processes and profitability
• Supporting the delivery of practice objectives and KPIs
• Creating a positive and productive team culture
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and professional standards
• Managing stock control and operational efficiencies
  
  Supporting the continued development of the practice and its team

• Previous experience in optical practice management or retail management
• Optical experience preferred
• Fully qualified Dispensing Optician desirable, though not essential
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
• Ability to drive efficiency, performance and team engagement
• Commercially aware with a customer-focused approach
• Confident leading and developing teams
• Able to motivate colleagues and deliver results within a busy environment
